Notice to Creditors in the Insolvency of Gustav Anton Yazvinsky to appear at a court hearing to be held on 15 November 1870. Printed in Issue 41 of the 1870 Minsk Vedomosti, which was a newspaper published by the Russian Empire: The transcriber has made no effort to separate the "Jewish names" on this list from the "non-Jewish names." The presence of a name on this list does not necessarily give any information about the ethnicity of the name. The microfilm used to transcribe this is available at the New York Public Library, in the Slavic and Baltic room. The original notice gives a little more information about Mr. Yazvinsky's bankruptcy estate, but no further information about his creditors. Of course, it's possible that some of his creditors may have ended up going bankruptcy and posting vedomosti notices of their own. A.L.
